We're happy to report that our time at the technical school has been going great!  We're meeting a lot of  new people, and because of the Guitar Building & Repair and Band Instrument Repair programs, we've come across more than a handful of musicians.  We're going to be picking up our 8-Channel interface this coming weekend, so expect to hear some new music from not only us in the upcoming months, but from our classmates as well!  VIVA MUSICA!

Dave's guitar building and repair teacher, David Vincent, is raffling off a hand-built guitar to raise scholarship funds for Southeast Techinal Guitar building and repair students. 

The guitar also features brass bridge pins set with garnets handmade by Sam's jewelry teacher Todd Hawkinson.  Tickets are $5 each and the raffle will take place on October 3rd. Hey Crystal City citizens!  Dave and Sam are moving to Red Wing, Minnesota in the middle of August!  We've been so lucky to have our central Iowa support, and we are really looking forward to meeting people and making new friends in Minnesota.  If anyone knows of any good venues in Minnesota, drop us a line (crystalcitymusic@gmail.com) and let us know!  Thanks again for your continued Support! - Dave and Sam

Crystal City is getting ready to work on recording a full-length album. This is especially exciting for us, because we've added two new members to the band--Philip Payton on guitar and Blake Oleson on drums. This is going to be Crystal City like you've never heard it! And if you love us now, it's going to be so easy to fall in love with Philip and Blake.

Dave has been writing some amazing lyrics, and it's been so rewarding to play them live with the full band. I can't wait to post up the demos for you to listen to!

We are proud to let you know that Crystal City is getting even better!  We've added new members!
